CNBC Announces Inaugural CNBC Elite Advisors List

List Recognizes 25 Leading Investment Advisors Serving Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals and Family Offices

June 22, 2026

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., June 22, 2026 – CNBC today announced the inaugural CNBC Elite Advisors, a list recognizing 25 of the nation’s leading investment advisors serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices. The list highlights advisors and firms that have distinguished themselves through their ability to manage significant wealth while helping clients navigate increasingly complex financial, business and personal decisions.

As wealth creation accelerates and family balance sheets become more sophisticated, affluent investors are seeking advisors who can provide more than investment management alone. Today’s top advisors are helping clients address a broad range of needs, including estate planning coordination, tax strategy, family governance, philanthropic planning and multi-generational wealth transfer.

The firms and advisors recognized on CNBC’s inaugural Elite Advisors list specialize in serving clients with investible assets of $25 million or more. Collectively, the firms on this year’s list oversee more than $2.1 trillion in assets under management and are headquartered across 15 states. They average 31 years in business, ranging from Pitcairn, founded in 1923, to RWA Wealth Advisors, established in 2023. Participating firms were evaluated through a comprehensive assessment measuring both scale and quality across several key areas, including organizational scalability, assets under management attributable to ultra-high-net-worth clients, breadth and sophistication of client services and investment strategies, professional certifications and industry recognition, client retention, advisor tenure and overall reputation.

To develop the methodology, CNBC surveyed more than 100 qualifying firms and consulted with AccuPoint Solutions, a wealth management data and research firm specializing in advisor intelligence and industry analytics, as well as Cerulli Associates, a leading research and consulting organization focused on the asset and wealth management industries. Together, the methodology identifies firms that combine institutional capabilities with the personalized service and expertise demanded by some of the world’s most discerning investors. The complete methodology can be found here.
