LONDON, MARCH 12, 2026 - CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, today announced two appointments joining its international digital newsroom in London.
Joseph Wilkins joinsas a Reporter for CNBC Pro, contributing to market‑moving digital reporting, real‑time analysis and live blog coverage for CNBC’s premium subscription product. Based in London, he will help deliver fast, accurate and insightful journalism for professional investors across Europe.
Wilkins joins from the Financial Times, where he most recently served as Chief Reporter for FT Adviser’s Asset Allocator, following roles as Funds Correspondent, and Markets Fellow at Business Insider, covering global macro trends, stock movers, currencies and commodities. He holds a Master’s in Global Financial Journalism from City, University of London, a degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Bath, and the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
Mike Sheen joins as Markets & Finance Editor, overseeing CNBC International’s coverage of global markets, banks, deals and corporate finance across EMEA. Also based in London, he will manage a team of specialist reporters and drive breaking news, exclusives and high‑impact financial coverage for CNBC’s global audiences.
Sheen brings extensive newsroom leadership experience, joining from This Is Money where he served as News Editor. His prior roles include News Editor and Deputy News Editor at Investment Week, following reporting roles covering global fund management. He trained at the Press Association and has a track record in financial, markets and business journalism.
