Golf Channel to Present Over 200 Hours of College Golf Including Live, Encore, and Studio Coverage, Following the Action as Players and Teams Compete on the “Road to Omni La Costa”

STAMFORD, Conn. – March 2, 2026 – Golf Channel today announced its 2026 college golf programming lineup, with this week’s Darius Rucker Intercollegiate presented by Principal Financial marking the start of the spring college golf schedule on Golf Channel.

This year, Golf Channel will present 11 college golf events, including a new event to Golf Channel with the Abilene Christian Intercollegiate, culminating in over 200 hours of college golf programming on the network in 2026.

As collegiate teams and players compete down the “Road to Omni La Costa,” referring to the home of the NCAA Championships at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, Golf Channel will be there to follow the action with live, encore and studio news coverage. Golf Channel will once again provide live coverage of both NCAA Nationals Championships and will host the NCAA Women’s and Men’s Selection Shows on April 29 (5-6 p.m. ET) and May 6 (2-3 p.m. ET), respectively.

Golf Channel’s Brentley Romine and Steve Burkowski will also host the College Golf Talk podcast throughout the year, with this week’s “Live from the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate” episode featuring previews and interviews from the event.

This is the 14th playing of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, which was the first all-women's regular season college golf event to air on Golf Channel when it first premiered in 2022. South Carolina (#18) hosts the event from Hilton Head, SC, with top-ranked teams and players expected to compete, including Auburn (#5), Wake Forest (#6) and last year’s NCAA Individual Champion Maria Jose Marin competing for Arkansas (#8).
