(NEW YORK – Oct. 8, 2026) – MS NOW has signed a deal with FiftyPlusOne to bring its polling resources and election journalism to MS NOW’s audiences, beginning today, Oct. 8.
The new deal will bring FiftyPlusOne’s expertise in tracking public opinion, politician approval ratings, and modeling outcomes for U.S. elections to all of MS NOW’s platforms. FiftyPlusOne will provide MS NOW with pre-election polling data, including key race averages and expert analysis of the polling landscape.
MS NOW is FiftyPlusOne’s exclusive national news partner.
“This partnership strengthens our ability to pair MS NOW’s rigorous midterms reporting with the data and analysis audiences need heading into Election Day,” says Kabir Khanna, Director of Elections and Analytics at MS NOW. “FiftyPlusOne’s expertise will give our journalists and audiences a deeper understanding of the polling landscape before and after Election Day.”
"Our team founded FiftyPlusOne to protect something we think the public deserves: rigorous, transparent aggregation of public opinion polls and other electoral data that's honest about what the numbers can and can't tell us,” says G. Elliott Morris, Head of Analytics at FiftyPlusOne. “FiftyPlusOne is proud to partner with MS NOW to power data-driven election coverage for millions of viewers.”
FiftyPlusOne’s polling data will be utilized across all of MS NOW’s linear and digital platforms. In addition, Morris will write a regular column for ms.now, and the MS NOW Membership will feature FiftyPlusOne’s data in its Live Q&A feature, through deep dives with Khanna and MS NOW Political Director Shawna Thomas.
This partnership builds on MS NOW’s polling and data infrastructure, following this year’s deal with The Associated Press as the network’s election results provider.
In just one year, MS NOW has built a robust, independent newsroom under VERSANT from the ground up, hiring hundreds of journalists, including a new Washington Bureau and focused newsgathering operation. MS NOW is investing in original reporting and investigative journalism and has attracted Pulitzer, Murrow, Emmy, and Peabody Award-winning reporters from leading outlets, including The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, POLITICO, CNN, PBS, ABC News, CBS News, and more.
