The new primetime special, filmed at MS NOW’s 1,800-person live community event in Philadelphia, features MS NOW’s Rachel Maddow, Ali Velshi, and Jen Psaki in conversation with special guests Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and constitutional legal expert Sherrilyn Ifill on the most pressing issues facing the country and democracy ahead of America’s 250th anniversary.
The conversation is a part of MS NOW Live and the network’s multi-platform expansion across digital, audio, live events, and linear.
Plus, MS NOW will cover America’s 250th anniversary throughout the 4th of July weekend.
MS NOW will feature dedicated guests and segments throughout the weekend to mark America’s 250th anniversary, highlighting the milestone from a range of historical, cultural, and political perspectives.
MS NOW will air the primetime special, “Hope Comes Home: Inside the Obama Presidential Center,” providing viewers with an unparalleled look at the recent opening of the Obama Presidential Center, and exclusive interviews with former President Barack Obama, former First Lady Michele Obama, and more. The special will air at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 4.
