(Dec. 12, 2025 – NEW YORK) – In an MS NOW Live event, host Jonathan Capehart will sit down with former First Lady Michelle Obama for a rare cable interview in Los Angeles to discuss her latest book, “The Look.” The interview will air as an exclusive primetime special, “The Look: A Conversation with Michelle Obama,” on Thursday, Dec. 18 at 8 p.m. ET on MS NOW.
“The Look: A Conversation with Michelle Obama” will highlight the themes explored in the former First Lady’s latest book, including the role fashion and self-expression played as she navigated the White House. The interview will take place in front of members of Blackbird House, a community coworking space in Los Angeles that supports and guides women of color and their allies.
The MS NOW Live event and special are a continuation of the network’s multi-platform expansion across digital, audio, live events and streaming, as MS NOW continues to invest in original programming on linear.
A Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, Jonathan Capehart is the co-host of “The Weekend,” airing Saturdays and Sundays from 7 to 10 a.m. ET on MS NOW.
