(New York – Feb. 5, 2026) – Symone Sanders Townsend and Eugene Daniels will launch an all-new original podcast, “MS NOW Presents: Clock It.” In the series, the Washington power-players will take on the latest political news, the catchiest cultural moments, and how the two converge. The first episode in the series will be available across podcast platforms and YouTube on Thursday, Feb. 12, with new episodes dropping weekly.
“Clock It” invites listeners to join Sanders Townsend and Daniels in their off-the-clock conversations. They’ll analyze the moments when politics and culture blend into each other as they happen, point out the political strategies at play, and break down how to win the war of ideas, memes, and streams.
Sanders Townsend is a seasoned political strategist, author, longtime host for the network, and current co-host of “The Weeknight.” Daniels is a veteran journalist, a Senior Washington Reporter for the network, and co-host of “The Weekend.”
As part of MS NOW Premium on Apple Podcasts, listeners can enjoy ad-free listening plus bonus content. The first piece of subscriber-exclusive content will drop as early as February 14. Regular episodes of “Clock It” will drop weekly on Thursdays on Apple, Spotify, and wherever listeners get their podcasts. “MS NOW Presents” is the network’s dedicated feed for limited, topical series and serves as a one-stop shop for audiences to find the most timely, engaging content.
Other chart-topping and award-winning podcasts include: “Rachel Maddow Presents: Burn Order,” “Rachel Maddow Presents: Ultra;” “Rachel Maddow Presents: Bag Man;” “The Best People with Nicolle Wallace;” “Why Is This Happening? The Chris Hayes Podcast;” “The Blueprint with Jen Psaki;” “Main Justice with Andrew Weissmann and Mary McCord;” and more. In 2025, MS NOW’s audio portfolio had more than 135 million total downloads.
The network continues to lead the pack as one of the most influential news organizations on non-linear platforms. In January, MS NOW grew 142% year-over-year on YouTube and 21% month-over-month. Plus, MS NOW recorded 302 million views for the month, more than ABC News (104 million), CBS News (47 million), and NBC News (98 million) combined.
MS NOW continues to deliver year-over-year growth on linear, maintaining the network’s position as one of the most loyal and engaged news audiences on television. In January 2026, “The Weeknight” marked double-digit growth, up 21% among total viewers (961,000 vs. 796,000) and up 19% in the demo (87,000 vs. 73,000) versus the show’s predecessor in the same timeslot in January 2025. “The Weekend” also posted its best month in January 2026 since expanding to three hours in May 2025, up 16% and averaging 413,000 total viewers.
