September 2, 2026 — Oxygen, the home of high-quality, true-crime programming, announces Prosecuting Evil with Kelly Siegler returns for season three on Saturday, October 3rd at 9pm ET/PT with a two-hour premiere on the infamous case of the Texas Seven, who staged the largest prison break in Texas history. The first two seasons of Prosecuting Evil are available to stream now on Fandango. 

In 2025, season two of Prosecuting Evil with Kelly Siegler was the most-viewed Oxygen original series, averaging just over half a million viewers. 

In nine new episodes, Oxygen’s Prosecuting Evil with Kelly Siegler examines some of the most high-profile murder investigations and shocking trials through the expert perspective of veteran prosecutor Kelly Siegler. The series explores a mix of Siegler’s own cases and other impactful trials she watched unfold during her career, with each case offering a unique legal focus. In each episode, Kelly shares why these cases were significant and how they helped change laws, shape the judicial landscape and forge new approaches to investigating and prosecuting crimes. 

Featuring riveting courtroom footage and the compelling back-and-forth between elite prosecutors and defense attorneys, Kelly breaks down the legal strategies, arguments and counterarguments that ultimately shaped each case. Alongside prosecutors, investigators and victims’ families, she goes beyond the headlines to examine the pivotal moments that brought these cases to justice. As former Chief of the Special Crimes Bureau for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, the busiest courthouse in the Lone Star state, she has spent more than two decades prosecuting major felony and murder cases, trying approximately 200 jury trials, including 68 murder cases, 20 of which were capital murders.

  • The strangling of a 21-year-old marks the beginning of a chilling Houston serial murder investigation, with additional victims and a disturbing call to a local newsroom revealing a killer who appears to be untouchable. 
  • In a tiny Texas town, a custody dispute turns deadly when a father and stepmother of five are gunned down in broad daylight on church steps.
