USA Sports’ Coverage of Fever-Sparks on July 8th Averaged 1.04 Million Viewers, Marking USA Sports’ Most-Watched WNBA Game on Record and UP 149% vs. Last Season’s WNBA Average Cable Viewership

STAMFORD, Conn. – July 13, 2026 – USA Sports’ WNBA coverage on USA Network continues this week with Angel Reese and the Atlanta Deam hosting Nneka Ogwumike and the Los Angeles Sparks tonight at 7 p.m. ET and Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever hosting the Golden State Valkyries Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET. 

USA Sports’ coverage of Fever-Sparks last Wednesday, July 8th, averaged 1.04 million viewers (source: Nielsen Big Data + Panel), becoming USA Sports’ most-watched WNBA game on record and UP 149% vs. last season’s WNBA average cable viewership. The game marked the first time in WNBA history that a game beginning at 10 p.m. ET or later average over one million viewers. USA Sports’ WNBA coverage is averaging 512,000 viewers this season, up 22% vs. 2025 WNBA regular-season cable average.

USA Sports’ WNBA coverage continues tonight with the Dream (13-10) hosting the Sparks (10-11) on USA Network at 7 p.m. ET, as Carlan Gay (play-by-play) and Amy Audibert (analyst) will call the game live from the Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia.

On Wednesday, Caitlin Clark and the Fever (14-9), who lead the Eastern Conference, host the Valkyries (17-7), who are tied with the Aces for the second-best record in the WNBA. Meghan McPeak (play-by-play), Tamika Catchings (analyst), who played her entire 15-year WNBA career with the Fever and led the team to the 2012 WNBA Championship as Finals MVP, and Edona Thaqi (courtside reporter) will call the game live Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. 

Ruth Riley Hunter, a 13-year WNBA veteran who won two WNBA titles with the Detroit Shock and earned a gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics, will join the booth as a guest analyst on Wednesday’s game. Hunter, an Indiana native, won the 2001 NCAA Women’s National Championship as a member of Notre Dame and was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.
