STAMFORD, Conn. – August 19, 2026 – The top two teams in the WNBA – the Minnesota Lynx (29-7) and the Golden State Valkyries (25-9) - face off tonight at 10 p.m. ET, the NASCAR Cup Series heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway this Sunday, and the top teams from the Premier League and the Bundesliga hit the pitch this weekend, headlining this week’s 30+ hours of live sports coverage on USA Network.

WNBA x USA

USA Sports’ WNBA coverage this Wednesday features Olivia Miles and the Minnesota Lynx (29-7) visiting Gabby Williams and the Golden State Valkyries (25-9) in a showdown of the teams with the two best records at 10 p.m. ET on USA Network.

Meghan McPeak (play-by-play), Edona Thaqi (analyst) and Paris Lawson (courtside reporter) will call the game from the Chase Center in San Francisco. 

USA Sports’ WNBA coverage includes dedicated pregame, halftime, and postgame studio programming throughout the season, establishing USA Network as a weekly destination for WNBA fans. Last year, USA Sports and the WNBA announced an 11-year media rights agreement for USA Network to present WNBA games – including the regular-season and portions of the Playoffs and WNBA Finals in select years – beginning with the 2026 season. 

USA x NASCAR

USA Sports continues its coverage of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with the Dollar Tree 301 airing live on USA Network on Sunday, Aug. 23, starting at 3 p.m. ET. Pre-race coverage begins at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Long-time motorsports play-by-play commentator Leigh Diffey leads USA Sports’ NASCAR broadcasts alongside 21-time Cup Series-winner Jeff Burton, who was recently elected to the NASCAR Hall of Fame, as well as Steve Letarte, former crew chief for Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon. Burton notably won four Cup Series races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway from 1997-2000.

Marty Snider will host USA Sports’ Countdown to Green pre-race coverage starting at 2:30 p.m. ET alongside Burton and Letarte, and the post-race show will feature Diffey, Burton, and Letarte. Kim Coon and Dave Burns will report from pit road along with Trevor Bayne, who will also be reporting as USA Sport’s pace car analyst. 

Following Sunday’s post-race coverage, USA Sports will premiere “Enduring Spirit,” the final episode of its three-part limited documentary series NASCAR AMERICANA.“Enduring Spirit” follows NASCAR’s transformation from a regional pastime into a national institution while celebrating the patriotism and traditions that remain at its heart, proving that progress and heritage can race side by side. Part 3 explores modern day NASCAR through the eyes of five-time 2026 Cup Series winner and DAYTONA 500 champion Tyler Reddick and three-time Cup Series race winner Bubba Wallace at the 2026 Anduril 250, the first-ever race at a U.S. Naval Base.

The Dollar Tree 301 is the third race of USA Sports’ NASCAR coverage in 2026, which includes 14 races of the 2026 Cup Series season and includes full coverage of “The Chase,” with USA Sports producing 10 races on USA Network and four on NBC, including the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race in Miami in November.

The 2026-27 Premier League season kicks off this weekend with USA Network home to six opening matches Friday through Monday, featuring five Big Six clubs including Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea. USA Network will present the season-opening match this Friday, Aug. 21, as defending champion Arsenal host newly promoted Coventry City at 3 p.m. ET. Jon Champion, Lee Dixon, and Graeme Le Saux will call the match live from Emirates Stadium.

This week’s Premier League Live and Premier League Mornings studio coverage will originate live from the U.K. for live pitch-side shows throughout the weekend on USA Network, with Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe, and Tim Howard on-site throughout the weekend. Coverage on USA Network begins on Friday, Aug. 21 at 2 p.m. ET from Emirates Stadium ahead of Arsenal-Coventry City, Saturday, Aug. 22 at 7 a.m. ET from Gtech Community Stadium leading up to Brentford-Spurs, and Sunday, Aug. 23 at 8 a.m. ET from St. James’ Park ahead of Newcastle-Liverpool. USA Sports’ Inaugural Bundesliga Coverage 


USA Sports’ exclusive English-language coverage of the Bundesliga – Germany’s top domestic soccer league – begins this Saturday, Aug. 22 at 2:30 p.m. ET on USA Network with “Der Klassiker” – one of the Bundesliga’s biggest rivalries – as Harry Kane and defending champion Bayern Munich face runners-up Borussia Dortmund in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup.

Last month, USA Sports and the Bundesliga announced an exclusive multi-year U.S. media rights agreement with more than 300 live matches airing in the United States across USA Network and streaming on Versant-owned Fandango.

As part of the long-term partnership, which runs through the 2030-31 season, USA Sports will present live coverage of all Bundesliga regular season matches.
